This is a relatively new restaurant -- it opened earlier this year. I've been a couple times now. They offer a wide variety of "bowls" as well as a soup, "toasts" (like open faced sandwiches (all vegetarian), smoothies, and organic cold pressed juices. They also have good coffee (but no espresso-based beverages) and a selection of teas. They even have a kids menu. The bowls are the star here. Each time I've been there that's what I've ordered. Most recently I ordered the "Power Up" bowl with quinoa, lettuce, asparagus, sweet potatoes, beets, walnuts, and chicken with a vinaigrette dressing. The bowls range in price from $8-11, but adding a protein like chicken, steak, tofu, egg, or beans will run you $2-8 more. But the food is high-quality, fresh, and in many cases organic. It's also a nice atmosphere -- light and cheery -- and even someplace you stay and work in peace for a while after having breakfast or lunch. Best of all, everything on the menu is labeled, so you know what is gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, soy free, and even "seasonal." I think the soup changes seasonally. I'd recommend this place if you live in the area or are shopping at Dulles Landing shopping center. While it's a bit pricey, you get what you pay for and it's great food. It would be nice if they would offer gluten free bread for the "toasts" (toasted in a separate toaster, of course). That would make virtually the whole menu gluten free.

This is a new cafe with healthy offerings, located in the Dulles Landing shopping center near Michael's. I visited just a few days after they opened last month. I like the fact that the items on the menu are labeled as gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, and/or soy free. It is really helpful. I ordered the "Breakfast All Day," which was spiral cut potatoes, onions, and peppers with steak and a fried egg on top. They offer "bowls" like this one, salads like my friend ordered, interesting sandwiches, many juices, smoothies, and even a kids menu. You can view their menu here:
