Great Gluten Free Restaurant in Leesburg, Virginia,

I love to eat out, but for the past year I have been gluten free, so many of my favorite restaurants/foods are off-limits for me now. I eat at the Blue Ridge Grill in Leesburg approximately once per week. The servers and managers are knowledgeable about my GF restrictions. I love the BBQ ribs/sauce and the steamed vegatables. I like to go there M-Th after 4 PM for the half-price bar menu (must eat in the bar area) when my 1/2 rack of ribs/veg are only $8. I have eaten in many other restaurants which claim to be gluten free and still gotten sick. I never get sick from cross-contamination at Blue Ridge Grill, and my gluten free food is always great. I am a big fan!

Revisted with good results,

Though I had a bad experience with this restaurant before a few months back, I decided to try it again to see if they were able to work out their issues. I went with a couple friends that are on a regular diet, hence I was the only person in the group that needed to be on a gluten free diet. I checked with the waitress for a gluten free menu and she produced a piece of paper about double the size of a business card with their 'gluten free menu'. I'm glad I still have 20/20 vision since it was pretty small. Unfortunately the gluten free menu was rather short, though the burger and sandwich section makes it longer when ordering without buns. The good thing was that the waitress was aware what gluten free means and was proactive by already marking my order as such when we ordered. The food (I had the salmon served with asparagus) was rather tasty and gluten free. It seems that the ownership has resolved their issues and is able to serve gluten free meals.

Blue Ridge Grill Fad,

We visited the restaurant for a good time. I explained the the waiter that my food needs to be gluten free. He replied that he and the kitchen are aware of the "Gluten Free Fad." The food tasted great, but getting sick after the meal was not that great. They may be aware of the fad - as he called it - but they didn't follow the rules. After contacting the manager the next day I was offered a free meal, which I declined. Getting sick once is enough for me.
