The Fairview Street location of Max's Wine Dive in Houston offers the same signature dishes as the other restaurants that are part of this small Texas-area chain. The only difference is the seasonal menu, which is unique to each location, and features local produce and meats. Gluten free friendly items are noted on the menus. Comfort foods are the main attraction, and the fried chicken is available in a gluten free version, upon request. Several salads, seafood, and meat entrees on the seasonal menu are labeled gluten free friendly. The menu also indicates that many of the dishes can be made as gluten free (with substitutions/omissions), so be sure to ask the server about all of your options.
