Unpleasant dining experience in Barcelona - Hamburguesa Nostra, December 08, 2013 Reviewer: Freesoul from Germany - See all reviews by Freesoul 0.0 Palms What a disappointment! I went there because the website was very promising for celiacs. It shows the official 'FACE' sign and promoted their specials for celiacs. But it was really unpleasant. The waitress was a bit of 'I don't care' and the ordering system was very complicated. I ordered a cheese burger with crisps as the French fries were sold out (???) on a Saturday afternoon. She did not stop to recommend the 4 different homemade breads and uncountable often I reminded her that I am a celiac and I need special bread. Once she got it she took the order and I cannot even describe what it was. Just a meat patty in between a roll. No vegetable, no spread. Just dry bread and all the 10 different sauces were not suitable for celiacs. I asked for the cheese as it was not there and she said it is in the meat. Ha! No way. It didn't taste like cheese at all and the bun was unbeatably dry. For celiacs not recommendable. 0 out of 0 found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?
