My daughter and I were touring colleges when she found this place to stop on the way home. Walked in without mentioning anything and the first question was "How many Gluten Free menus would you like?" Really liked that as a starter.

Really nice owners, made us feel right at home. It's right on a busy road and doesn't look fancy from the outside, but the food is In-freakin-credible. The garlic bread was a little sweet but would have been better if we'd gotten the mozzarella cheese on it. Still, it was SO nice to be able to dip garlic bread in their amazing sauce.

My daughter got the spaghetti in vodka sauce, and I got the carbonara. Mine was amazing, but her's was insane. Definitely recommend either, but the vodka sauce made me jealous :) The couple who own it make everything from scratch and you can truly tell how much time and care they take in their food.

ALL OF THE DESSERTS ARE GLUTEN FREE!!!! Had a canoli for the first time in years, their eclairs are really good, but the lemon cookies and the chocolate chip cookies are unreal.

Go go go go!!!

This is one of the best places to eat gluten free food. The owner is very conscientious, they have an extensive Italian Gluten Free Menu and one of the only places that bring Gluten Free bread to your table with your dinner. I had my first Gluten Free Cannoli here and they have great pizza. You can also buy bags of their Gluten Free flour blend to take home. I use it all the time just like all-purpose flour to bake with in all routine recipes. It makes terrific cakes, cookies, quick breads, etc.

Coming back from a non-gluten-free reception in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and very hungry, we stopped at this Italian restaurant and pizzeria on Route 611, across from the Willow Grove Naval Air Station, which had a sign promising GF pizza and pasta. Grandma's Grotto has the largest gluten free pasta menu I have ever seen. Spaghetti and meatballs, chicken with pasta, lasagne and more. They also do things like veal parmesan, with a crispy coating! Save room for dessert, because the dessert tray is incredibale. A great variety of GF cakes, my particular favorite being the pistachio cake. We live 45 miles away but Grandma's Grotto is well worth the trip!
