I live in Fergus (Ontario) and our local grocery/deli now stocks a lot more gluten-free products.

Fraberts Fresh Food is a small family-operated market in Fergus Ontario, offering homemade ready-made meals, fresh local produce, fresh bread baked daily, local meats, gourmet cheeses, and other unique foods. They are celiac-aware and have an extensive gluten-free selection of products including snacks, take-away meals and pizza made on site. Their 'chocolate toffee crunch is to die for.

Another celiac-friendly restaurant is Van Galis (downtown Fergus). The owner is celiac I think so staff is very knowledgeable.
