Greenwich Village is where you will find Sacred Chow. The specialty here is food that is vegan, organic, and kosher. Many items are also naturally free of gluten. Soy free and sugar free options are available, as well. All of these special diet items are clearly labeled on the menu. Salads, paninis, tapas, and bowls are among the menu offerings. Some items of note are the Greek salad, French lentil meatloaf, tempeh reuben, and Dijon marinated raw kale tapas. For dessert, you can enjoy gluten free chocolate truffle cake, toasted macaroon cookies, or soy ice cream.
