My husband and I visited Minneapolis to attend a concert. I searched online for gluten free dining before our trip. When I found Pizza Luce on the Gluten Free Travel Site, there were no reviews, but it stated that the restaurant staff had been trained by the National Foundation For Celiac Awareness's Great Kitchen Program. That put my mind at ease, so I checked out the menu on Pizza Luce's website. Everything looked delicious. And it was located only 2 blocks from the hotel that we booked. So, I decided that it would be the perfect place to eat. And it, most certainly, was. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the gf items on the menu. We shared an order of gluten free bruschetta and a 10 inch gf pizza. Both were great. I wanted to try the gluten free stuffed pasta shells, also, but there wouldn't have been enough room in my stomach. I did not get glutened. We will definitely eat there again the next time we visit the Minneapolis area.

At GlutenFreeTravelSite, a restaurant or other business must typically be “reviewed” to appear on our site. We have thousands of gluten-free reviewers that have submitted feedback to our site — and have therefore helped guide thousands of others in the gluten-free community who rely on our site for honest, personal, and detailed dining and travel guidance. We have made an exception, however, for restaurants that have been trained through the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness’s GREAT Kitchens Program. We list restaurants like this one — even without a personal review — because they have been rigorously trained and vetted using NFCA’s strict protocols. GREAT Kitchens provides a “Train the Trainer” course for chefs and food service managers which gives them the knowledge and tools to educate their entire kitchen staff on safe gluten-free food handling and preparation. Visit NFCA’s website to learn more:
