Bethesda, Maryland has the best Gluten Free deli,

Lilit has been my go-to gluten free restaurant for years. The sandwiches are fantastic and I highly recommend the cheese steak. Lilit is famous for their gluten free crab cakes which are DELICIOUS. Also, definitely try the Brie melt.
Lilit's Gluten Free menu is extensive. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's also a regular menu if you're going with people who don't eat Gluten Free.
There's a great wine selection and a few Gluten Free beers to choose from.
And for dessert, there are GF cupcakes, gelato, cookies, cakes...you name it, they have it.
The restaurant atmosphere is very casual and take-out is available,
Lilit is seriously the best.

The Lilit Cafe in Bethesda Md. is a wonderful gf dining spot. It is small and cozy and their gf menu is as long as their regular one. Part of the owner's family has celiac and the food is great. I had the crab cakes and my husband did too. I had gf cheesecake for dessert and my husband had a chocolate tart. They even have a section where you can buy gf food. The owners make gelato every day and use ingredients straight from Italy. Our daughter and her friend had the gelato and declared it fantastic. I would give this place 5 palm trees.

A great little cafe located in Bethesda, MD, a couple miles from DC ( about a 15 minute walk from the Bethesda metro). They have a Gluten Free menu including sandwiches, pizza, and crabcake. Personally I'm not such a fan of the Pizza, but the sandwiches are pretty good. They also sell an amazing selection of desserts from Sweet Sin Bakery in Baltimore-- foccacia(Very good), cookies, muffins, tarts, cakes, etc. The place also has a good selection of wine (and beer for your non gluten friends-- as well as gluten free beer) and delicious gelato. Definitely worth the visit!

Lilit Cafe is a small cafe which receives gluten free bread, muffins and desserts from a local gluten free bakery (SweetSin). They also have gluten free pizza and wine (which is naturally gluten free).
