Amazing Gluten free bakery in Seattle

I absolutely love Jodee's Desserts! Located in Seattle, a one block walk from Greenlake, this place is amazing.

Jodee's offers gorgeously decorated slices of delicious pies, as well as goodies such as macaroons, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate truffles... When I visited Jodee's last week, I brought home a slice of butterscotch pie and a small whole cranberry hazelnut pie to share with my family for Thanksgiving. Other goodies in the dessert case were pumpkin pie, tiramisu, peppermint patty, and mocha pie. Yum!
My husband bullied me when I got home for not bringing him a slice of the pumpkin pie, which is TO DIE FOR! The owners and staff are super friendly, and will present you with a huge tray of little samples to try out.

These desserts taste so sinful and creamy and delicious.. that it's hard to believe that they are all gluten and dairy free! Not just modified to be gluten-free, but are natually free of any gluten, dairy, eggs. Oh, and they are organic, and made with ingredients that are really good for your body, such as coconut, raw chocolate, nuts, agave instead of sugar. Yum.. makes you almost feel good about eating a second piece of pie after dinner. :)

Not to forget the savory goods being offered, such as crackers, kale chips, and hot soup - I believe the offering last week was Tuscan white bean.. these are all gluten and dairy free as well. Crackers too! The small shop is super cute, with a little counter for sitting with a cup of their french press Stumptown coffee and a slice of pumpkin pie. However, it's not a very big space, so is probably best for getting a slice or two of tiramisu to go!

Jodee's is like a little treasure trove of deliciousness in Greenlake.
