Gluten free menu at restaurant near Rome's Pantheon,

This restaurant is located not too far from the Pantheon and right near the Campo d' Fiore piazza. It is a long narrow restaurant with seating available outside. It was so hot that day, so we opted to eat inside. It was interesting to see a bride and groom enjoying their wedding reception with close family and friends at a long table outside. We took this as a good sign! Clearly, this is a good restaurant, even though it's extremely casual. Although we assumed their gluten free pizza would be good (being named Voglia di Pizza!), we had all had quite a bit of pizza in the past day or two. So we all ordered gluten free pasta. They offer both penne and spaghetti. They are AiC certified, like many restaurants we chose on our trip, and so they know how to avoid cross contamination when preparing gluten free meals. Apparently, they can make any item on their menu gluten free: pizza, pastas, antipasti, even fried starters like potato croquettes. They also offer many gluten free beers. We all chose to order the spaghetti -- in four different preparations. I ordered the Pomodoro sauce, simple yet delicious. My husband had the Pesto, as good as we've had anywhere, including our own homemade version which we love. One of our sons stuck with his favorite Alio Olio, while the other ordered my new personal favorite pasta which I'd recommended to him: the Cacio e Pepe (cheese and pepper) -- a lite creamy white cheese sauce with cracked pepper. Delicious! I also ordered an antipasto platter to start. Of course, my husband enjoyed some red wine while I ordered another new favorite: limoncello. I can't recall what desserts they offered that were gluten free, because we had our heart set on getting gelato on this incredibly hot day. My only regret was that -- as good as the gluten free pasta was -- at least one of us in the family should have ordered the gluten free pizza to try! A good reason to go back on the next trip, I guess!

This restaurant, located in Campo di Fiori, has a gluten free menu. None of the three celiacs in our party got sick eating there. But our food just wasn't very good. The pizza was the worst we had in Rome. With many other tasty gluten free options in the city, we don't recommend this one.

Located in a trendy area, we walked our way there and stumbled into this lovely pizzeria with a big sign under the name: Senza Glutine, inmediatelly felt comfortable and when the server brought me the Gluten Free menu, I was in disbelief. Ordered my pizza with some toppings and almost cried when I tasted it, REAL PIZZA flavor. We went back for lunch next day and repeated the order, didn't get to try their other dishes on the menu but they are more than knowledgable.

Great place for pizza. Both gluten free and regular. They also have gluten free beer. Busy cafe with tables on the street with interesting people. Met a guy from Australia with a keen knowledge of economics and history. A surfer dude from down under. Great pizza that we came back for another day because it was so good.

Voglia di Pizza is just off the Campo de Fiori. Not only do they have gluten free pizza, they have an entire gluten free menu including desserts like tiramisu. It was very close to our hotel and we became regulars. Pizza, pasta, and salads were all very good! It is a very small, casual restaurant so keep your eye out for it!
