Somehow we never seemed to think of them when planning a meal out. Last weekend my husband and I were searching for entertainment. We couldn't find anything that interested us. We gave up our search and instead decided on food. At 11:pm on a Thursday most places were closed and what was not was scant pickings for a Celiac. I remembered The Fiddlers Hearth and we had a fabulous time! This Irish style pub is cozy and usually has performers playing music. We enjoyed the band and the waitress was very well informed about what I could eat. She was helpful with dishes I have never had before and gave good suggestions. We shared the Vegetable Pakora which was spicy and I had smoked salmon for dinner. The waitress suggested Chocolate Oblivion for dessert which was a flour-less chocolate cake that tasted like a chocolate truffle. We made out with drinks, appetizer, dinner, and dessert for around $40, plus the free entertainment. The only down side for some may be that it is set up as a small town pub. This means shared seating. You will find your self sitting at a table with people you don't know. We didn't mind though. The online menu does not show gluten free options but the one in the pub does.
