Varied menu. Had the Hawaiian Pizza with roasted garlic. Tasty but too cheesy; had to eat with knife and fork. Place was busy on a Friday night. It took half an hour to get my pizza; other diners arriving well after me got theirs first. Server first said there was a back up in the oven; later, he said the chef mixed up the order slips??? While waiting, 2 young, healthy women came in with a "service" dog (a lap dog) that was allowed to roam freely on its leash, wagging its tail, looking to be petted. The server was nice and attentive despite the wait. Didn't charge me the $5 corkage fee for BYOB and gave me a 10% discount for the inconvenience of waiting so long. Uses styrofoam containers for take out:(

Gluten Free Pizza on Maui,

This is a dedicated Gluten Free restaurant with many pizza, salad, entree and dessert choices. Everything I've eaten has been delicious and you are invited to BYOB but if it is not gluten free they will ask you to use a disposable cup or drink from the bottle so no gluten enters the prep or clean-up stations. Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the choices and relief of eating a delicious Gluten Free meal from a kitchen other than your own.

Maui Brick Oven made my Maui dining experience; the food was excellent and it was an all around great dining experience.

It was wonderful to be able to eat anything on the menu and not have to double check everything. We had the coconut shrimp, battered fish and chips, pizza and the fish special all of which were amazing. The restaurant was very clean and all of the staff were extremely friendly.

Gluten free heaven at restaurant on Maui,

My spouse (who has Celiac) and I ate at this restaurant three times while on vacation in Maui. We would not only eat in but then also purchase extra food to take back to the room for the following day. It is great food for both those who have to eat gluten free and those who don't. They have a great variety of appetizers, salads, dinner options, and desserts. Many of the selections are items that those with Celiac normally never get to enjoy, (i.e. mozzarella sticks, fish and chips, molten lava cake and of course pizza!) It is delicious! The chefs make all of their bread, bread crumbs, and crusts from scratch. It was so relaxing for my husband to be able to order anything off the menu without having to worry about cross-contamination in the kitchen. It made travel much easier than usual. It is a family run restaurant with great service and atmosphere. They are in an easily accessible location on South Kihei Road. I highly recommend checking them out.

Gluten free at restaurant in Hawaii -- The best GF place I've been,

Tonight, my husband and I visited the Maui Brick Oven in Kihei, Maui for dinner. I have been planning to make this visit since I googled gluten free in Maui before our vacation, but we are past Lahania so it was a day trip to go there. Let me tell you, this is worth the drive and more. I have been Gluten free since 2008 and have only had chicken parm when I attemp to make it. I have not had mozza sticks since diagnosis. I ordered both these items off their 4 page 100% gluten free menu and they were amazing! My husband, who is not gluten free had the fish and chips. He is very picky about fish and chips and said they rivaled the best he has ever had! And the desserts! There is a choice of desserts! We had the Caramel apple amaretto dessert with shortbread cookies and the Molten Lava Chocolate cake. They were heaven. This is a family run business with the best service and food I have had in a long time. The Father and son were both diagnosed with celiac disease and found the availablity of gluten free fare sadly lacking so they decided to offer their own. The result is something that should be licensed and shared for all celiacs to enjoy. No matter where on Maui you are, you NEED to make the trip to Kihei to visit this place. You will not be sorry!

Greatest Pizza Ever -- Gluten free in Maui, Hawaii,

An amazing gluten free only restaurant has recently opened in Kihei, run by 2 chefs who are also gluten intolerant. (Don't confuse it with a chain of pizza places called the Brick Oven Hawaii.) I ate a delicious grilled veggie pizza that was the best I've eaten in 8 long years. Other items on this Italian inspired menu include chicken parmesian and daily specials. They use as many quality fresh local ingredients as possible so everything is very good for you--except maybe the yummy sounding desserts . Imagine--a WHOLE RESTAURANT for us!!This is just another reason to return to sunny Maui.

Just finished my second round of leftovers from our dinner at Maui Brick Oven Pizza. I, as a Celiac for 13 years, would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone, especially those who must eat gluten free. Their ENTIRE menu is Gluten Free. We shared breaded mozzarella sticks, a wedge salad, pizza and the molten lava cake for desert. Everything was excellent and worry free with no chance of cross contamination. Great service, knowledgable and friendly staff and better than reasonable cost. We'll be going back to try the fish and chips and the stuffed chicken and another pizza!

Finally, a totally gluten-free pizza place on the Island of Maui. No worries about cross-contamination, as everything in this place is made without gluten. Pizza's are tasty, original and with a thin crust that is not soggy! I will be coming back here again and again....

This restaurant is 100% gluten free and offers a variety of options, including pizza, pasta, fish and chips, chicken dishes and desserts. It also has a kid's menu. The owners and staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. We ate at the restaurant several times while in Maui and it was excellent.

This restaurant has just opened and is one of a kind. It is totally gluten free!!! Yes, no wheat, rye or barley in the entire restaurant! It is a family owned and operated restaurant. Two of the owner/chefs have Celiac Disease so they understand about cross contamination. Maui Brick Oven specializes in gourmet pizza (delicious thin crispy crust) but also has a wide range of other menu items...including Beer Battered Fish & Chips. It is BYOB - beer & wine, which is very popular with the local community. The setting has a nice, cozy, tropical feel. You have to go and see for yourself!
