Gluten Free Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta,

After a family vacation to London where I had the most fantastic afternoon tea service., I was obsessed with finding a place to enjoy delicious and gluten-free Afternoon Tea service here at home. It stood to reason that a hotel with international visitors was the best place to start. The Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta was more than happy to accommodate my request for gluten-free Afternoon Tea service. The delectable gluten-free tea menu at Park 75 (the main dining room at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta) rivals the regular tea service menu. In addition to delicious gluten-free tea sandwiches, impressive pastries, and scones with lemon curd and Devonshire cream, the fine tea selections are gluten-free as well. The Afternoon Tea schedule at The Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta varies based on special events. The service is typically available on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and 24-hour advanced reservations are needed for all patrons. For the best gluten-free accommodations, make reservations at least two days in advance. Various sweet gluten-free delicacies I've enjoyed at the Four Seasons Hotel include, but are not limited to, tea cookies, raspberry tarts in a chocolate shell, cheesecake lollipops, and chocolate truffles. The buttermilk gluten-free scones are the best I've had anywhere - including all gluten versions. To ensure the safety of allergen guests, gluten-free and gluten options are served on separate tiered serving stands. Cross contamination procedures are in place in the kitchen to segregate the gluten-free and gluten tea menu items as well. It's really wonderful to be able to enjoy this amazing treat with gluten-free and gluten eating friends alike!

Chef Robert and the staff at Park 75 go out of their way to accomodate (and impress) gluten free patrons. The restuarant recently hosted a gluten free dinner week, so we attended for my birthday. It was incredible - a bread basket filled with gluten free biscuits and corn bread, gluten free crab cakes, lobster chili (like a bisque), and even dessert! The pastry chef even made me a special dessert for my birthday - it was all very yummy. I cried when they brought the dessert out - it was so nice to be able to order 4 courses AND eat the bread/rolls! They do not always have gluten free offerings though, so you need to call ahead and make sure you tell them you need gluten free when you make reservations. Hopefully they will get enough requests to have a permanent gluten free menu (although the menu changes with the seasons as everything is prepared fresh).
