I discovered this restaurant while strolling on famous Carnaby Street in London. I had a look at its menu from outside and then was tempted to ask them what selection of dishes they offer which are gluten free. To my surprise there were loads of selections, the staff was really helpful and they explained to me that apart from one curry ‘Undhiyo’ I can order any other curry which the chef will cook separately for me to make sure it is gluten free and this could be accompanied with rice. They also do ‘thali’ which is like a platter with one selection of curry and many small bowls of vegetarian dishes, this usually come with choice of rice/roti so for me it was with rice. There was a separate section in their menu for grills and kebabs which was gluten free and in starters they offered two gluten free dishes – aloo tikki chaat (this was really yummy) and Shikhampuri kebab. Overall the food was good and service was amazing. Will definitely visit this place again and most impressed with the choice of gluten free dishes.
