Gluten free at restaurant in London,

After reading the reviews from others, I had to try this with my family on our first trip to London. It is a cozy, family run restaurant where the owner and his son have celiac and they have developed quite a few gluten free pasta & pizza dishes. You must order the bread, it was the best I've ever had! We went back a second night it was so good. (They also have dishes with wheat for those other family members... if they want them.) And they have dedicated cooking areas for each type so there is no contamination issue. The restaurant is right across the street from the Lambeth North tube exit. I made reservations on toptable.com but I think going without reservations would not be a problem most nights. Highly recommend it.

Great Gluten Free Pizza at restaurant in London,

We recently had a great Gluten Free meal at Cotto in central London. The owner is a Celiac and takes great pride in making Gluten Free pizza, pasta and bread with "love," and it was wonderful. We were greeted with hugs and kisses (really!) and the owner personally made sure our meal was prepared right. The Gluten Free selection is huge and even incudes homemade lasagna and many desserts. I had pizza with a crust that was much like the crust I remember before I was diagnosed. The sauce was delicious and there was no shortage of toppings. My spouse had 4 cheese pasta (regular) which he said was wonderful. I would highly recommend Cotto to anyone visiting London eating Gluten Free or not. Prices were reasonable too-for London anyway. About 85.00 for dinner including entrees, 1 drink each, dessert and coffee for 2. Easy walk from the "tube" and just down the street from the Westminster Bridge, London Eye, etc. I had absolutely no symptoms of gluten contamination. We just spent a month in the UK and overall found both London and Scotland restaurants to be very aware and accommodating.

Outstanding Italian Restaurant in London with Gluten Free Menu,

Cotto Italian Restaurant is a family-run restaurant that offers an extensive gluten-free menu. Their Gluten Free choices range from pizza to pasta. We ate there twice during our 10 day vacation in London. Our meal began with Gluten Free bread which was excellent - the owner states that they make it themselves. I then had the best-tasting Gluten Free lasagna as well as GF tirimasu! The owner has Celiac Disease and he and his staff seemed very aware of our dietary needs. We were so happy to discover this place and will certainly return if we ever get back to London!

Dear All, We had been recently relocated to London. When we just arrived I was really worried and full of anxiety about my husband's celiac diet. Finally, after some research I found an email in the internet of a yourng girl who came to London for a family vacation and found this special restaurant in London near Waterloo Station. I told my husband about it and we went for dinner one night. So far, finding this place has being one of the most rewarding experiences in our gluten free lifestyle. Cotto is a family business with all the members working togerher to have the best gluten free dishes you can ever taste. Lino and his family always make us feel at home, safe and in peace to enjoy a lovely dinner. Cotto's dishes are all home made and most of their products come directly from Italy. So, the quality of the food is outstanding. Lino, who is celiac himself, and his family have created an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable, welcome and safe. If you need more information you can call the restaurant or check the web site where you can find a celiac menu.
