I had called this restaurant prior to our trip to inquire as to what on the menu is gluten free. They are very well known as having amazing BBQ. They do not mark anything on their regular menu, aside from mentioning they have gluten free buns for the sandwiches. They do have a Gluten Information Sheet they emailed me. Their ribs, grilled chicken, beef brisket, pork, sausages, burgers, and steaks are gluten-free, as are both of their BBQ sauces (regular and spicy). Off limits are the fries and onion rings, since they aren't cooked in a dedicated fryer. The veggie burgers, prime rib, chicken fingers, catfish, and au gratin potatoes are also NOT gluten-free. The salads are fine, providing you get them without croutons, and all salad dressings except Caesar are gluten-free. Also, tell them not to include garlic toast with your meal if you are getting one of the BBQ platters. The coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, and corn on the cob are gluten-free, too. Our food was delicious. I got the rib and brisket combo, and the brisket was undoubtedly the best I've ever had...pulled, not sliced brisket, so more like pulled pork style. It was incredibly delicious and moist, and the BBQ sauce is excellent. The ribs were really good, too. The Italian dressing on my salad was great...I think it is homemade. Everyone else in the family enjoyed their meals, too...ribs, chicken, steaks. But I'd especially recommend the ribs and brisket that I ordered. There was no gluten-free beer available, only GF cider, and of course, a selection of wines. Our waiter was very friendly and well-versed about gluten-free food preparation and assured us that the kitchen is careful with GF orders. I would recommend this popular place to gluten free travelers visiting Aspen. I'd go back a second time if we were staying longer!
