Gluten free at restaurant in LAX airport,

This cafe serves organic, plant-based cuisine. All gluten free, nut free, and soy free items are clearly marked on the menu, too. Ingredients are non-GMO and prepared fresh on-site. They also have locations in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and Pasadena. We only purchased a gluten free piece of carrot cake, as we'd already found some other meal options and snacks before stumbling upon Real Food Daily. The cake was good, but very expensive (almost $9 for a large piece). Other options on the menu for gluten free travelers included all juices, smoothies, and milkshakes; salads; two breakfast tofu dishes; all soups; and an extensive selection of customizable "bowls" of grains/veggies/plant protein. Everything is quite pricey, but after all, nothing is cheap at the airport, and at least this is high-quality, healthy food.

Quick gluten free meal at LAX airport,

We needed a quick gluten free snack or meal before boarding our long flight cross country. There were limited options in Terminal 6, but there was a Ruby's Dinette. They pretty much serve burgers and fries with a few other options. I wanted a burger, and I'd heard they now offered gluten free buns in their restaurants (it's a chain). But they don't stock them at this airport location, which only has a limited menu. So they offered me a burger in a lettuce wrap, which I enjoyed. This restaurant was fine in a pinch...just don't expect that it will be a big meal. I bought a bag of chips to go with it, since I didn't trust their fries.

Gluten free meal to go at LAX airport,

We had a long cross country flight ahead of us, and I wanted something shelf-stable to take on the plane with me for late in the flight. I picked up a "Go Picnic" snack at the Hudson News newsstand in Terminal 6 of LAX. They had a few gluten free varieties, as well as some non-GF varieties. If you've never had a "Go Picnic" snack/meal, they're a bit like Oscar Meyer's Lunchables boxed lunches, just healthier and gluten free. I chose the one with crackers, hummus, and several other snacks. They run about $6 each, and if you're really hungry, you'll want to buy two. It was perfect for the plane ride.
