I am living on a gluten free diet, mandatory. I live in NYC and run a major hotel and even there I cannot get a menu that is completely free of flour. This little gem of a restaurant was able to advise me up front of which meal selections I could choose (There were quite a few). As a matter of fact, most of the menu was gluten free. The chef explained that he readily uses rice or corn flower as substitutes and nothing is deep fried. It's a small cool getaway restaurant with great service, and I left happy. Goes to show, the bigger chains are missing out on a niche market. __________________
