Last night we ate at the Cultured Pearl and I called ahead to be
sure that everything would work out. The manager spoke to
me on the phone and I learned that any teriyaki dish is safe.
They make their own teriyaki sauce and it is GF. As has been
previously reported, they offer GF soy sauce if you are having
sushi. He did mention that there are a few things, like eel,
which already are marinated in soy and should be avoided.
Anything that they make from scratch can be made safely. He
made a point of telling me that they have many customers
with Celiac and are pleased to able to accommodate them. My
son ordered chicken teriyaki and had veggie sushi with the GF
soy sauce. Also the edamame bar is great and we were assured
that nothing unfriendly is in the edamame. The dinner was
terrific.
