In 2007 I took a four day Memorial Day cruise on the Queen
Mary II, we sailed out NY city to the Bahamas and back.
Our very first meal was dinner that night. I spoke to our
waiter about my GF needs, he in turn had the head waiter
come to my table. He then told me what entree I could have
on the menu for that evening. He seem very knowledgeable
about all the sections. At the end of the meal I was presented
with a "special dessert" that night and every-night there after!
Each one was delicious. Also at the end of each meal, I was
given entrees for the next evenings meal and asked to choose
one and it would be prepared GF for me. Also at every meal
thereafter GF bread was also always available on my table!
Breakfast was never a problem and all I had to do was tell my
waiter to have it prepared GF. At lunch, fresh salads ,
hamburgers and or cold cuts (GF) were readily available.
It was a wonderful trip and food was NO problem for me.
I would definitely recommend this Cunard Cruise Line for GF
food.
