Gluten Free Dining on the Disney Dream cruise ship

After reading hundreds of reviews on Disney cruises, I thought they sounded amazing and accommodating. Boy was I wrong. Lunch the first day the chef took us around the buffet and we ate very little, worrying about cross contamination. At dinner the waiter expressed that they would try to make me anything on the menu I chose, but really he would push me to only order items that would be easy to make gluten free. After each dinner they had us preorder our breakfast lunch and dinner for the next day. Breakfast usually came out cold and soggy, and no matter what we ordered, it always came out different. Lunch also was usually cold unless we ordered it on the spot and waited. Dinner was really amazing, I felt like I needed more direction on what they really could make and what wasn't possible. I only chose things I thought would be easy gluten free. We came back early from our first port and had pizza on board. On Castaway Cay we preordered food and they sent it to a restaurant on the island. Immediately after eating I knew I was sick. We ran back to the ship and I spent the next 3 hours horribly glutenized. We talked to guest services about there being a problem and during dinner they had the head chef talk to us. He said there was no way it was their fault and passed us off to another kitchen staff member. We talked to 9 people and each one admitted no fault, even though the only meals we had were all from Disney. We fought over and over with them just wanting them to admit that something went wrong and they should figure out where it happened. Even with the amazing food at dinner, I will never take another Disney cruise. After making me sick they refused to admit that something could have happened and were rude when trying to talk to them about it. The lack of customer service was absolutely ridiculous.
